Has anyone had luck with dealing with this type of issue? I see so many people talk about problems with XBox, PS4, and iOS, but not so much this and it isn't even a listed option when you try to contact Mojang either.Įdit: If it helps at all, both of them are up to date as of last night since I had updates to do, so age shouldn't be a problem for the 5th gen one.We want Minecraft to be a safe place for everyone. I'm kind of stuck now while I'm waiting for Mojang to get back to me, and I don't know where to go from here. So going the Realms route won't work for me, which sucks. It's not like that on the new device, and yes, both are up to date with v1.16.201 on my end. We will try again soon." notice every single time I log on. I just get the "We could not connect to Realms right now. This would be fine for me to give a try if Realms would even show up when I'm using the old device. The other method I've been told about is using Realms. This has me super frustrated, since I don't know how much of this is going to make it harder to transfer a copy of my worlds over without them possibly getting corrupted in the process. That strikes me as weird because I made a test world that I have some time in so there should be at least something in a file, but I'm not seeing anything. However, on my new one, all my mojang related files are empty (aside from the thumbnail). I can see various worlds, skins, and other files without a problem - even copies I made as a fail safe. I checked my old kindle to see where the files are and my mojang file in the games or data section seems fine. This is where I'm not sure if I'm just oblivious and tech illiterate comes in to play. I've been trying to look around for suggestions from YouTube and the most I've seen is using a file transfer system or saving the files to your PC and then transfering them to the new device that way. I have an old 5th gen Kindle Fire that I've been playing on for about two years now, but I got an Fire HD 10 (9th gen) back in November that I've been meaning to transfer my worlds over to after I saw that they weren't there when I logged in on my new device. I made a post like this a month ago, but I'm still stumped and not sure what to do. (#spoiler) = neat!
